Job Title: Store Manager
Location: Amman- Avenue Mall
Job Summary:
The Store Manager is responsible for leading and managing store operations to deliver the highest standards of customer service and to maximize sales and profitability in line with company objectives. This role also includes responsibility for inventory, maintenance, and the external appearance of the store.
Main Responsibilities:
- Team Management:
- Conducting team briefings, training, and coaching sessions.
- Supervising store staff, managing schedules, and overseeing daily tasks.
- Monitoring team performance to ensure timely task completion and managing back store arrangements.
- Customer Service:
- Training staff in customer service, providing counseling and discipline as needed, and evaluating employee performance.
- Setting monthly sales targets and strategizing with team members to achieve them.
- Driving sales by setting individual sales targets on a weekly basis.
- Inventory Management:
- Preparing inventory orders based on store needs to avoid out-of-stock or overstock situations.
- Coordinating stock transfers with other stores as needed.
- Sending monthly reports on hot and cold selling items and preparing additional reports as required.
- Communication:
- Liaising with various departments including operations, warehouse, inventory, finance, and mall management.
- Coordinating with other Mumuso stores.
- Administration:
- Managing administrative work and conducting store audits.
- Ensuring compliance with store standards, stock levels, and visual merchandising.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial role; previous experience in the retail industry is a major plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong management and leadership abilities.
- High entrepreneurial drive with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
