The King Hussein Foundation/ Institute For Family Health is looking to recruit a Sub Grants Supervisor / Fixed Term Project:
Job Purpose:
Under the overall supervision of the project manager, the Sub Grants Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the implementation of all related programs and activities that manage grants and budgetary plans and Manage all financial and administrative task requested for execution the project, including continues coordination and follow up on the site and in the office.
Major Responsibilities:
- Coordinate grants and supervise all local associations benefiting from the project in coordination with the direct supervisor.
- Prepare periodic reports after collecting initial reports from the associations, ensuring they meet the grantor's requirements.
- Prepare and follow up on all financial and contractual documents, and complete all procedures and approvals related to grants and grant-receiving entities.
- Prepare and follow up on tracking forms and tools to monitor all financial transactions related to grants and their expenditure and develop a financial spending plan to ensure work proceeds according to the schedule, deadlines, and grantor's conditions.
- Prepare and follow up on the necessary contracts and documents for grants, ensuring their compliance with the grantor's conditions and Jordanian law.
- Conduct and manage various meetings with grant-receiving institutions to ensure work proceeds according to the financial plan and schedule.
- Advise the project manager and inform them of any obstacles hindering the progress and conflicting with the project's objectives and contractual terms.
- Prepare and present financial plans in coordination with the project management and the technical and administrative staff to ensure all activities, events, and logistical matters related to the grant-receiving associations are covered.
- Regularly coordinate with the accountant and project manager to review the budget, compare it with actual project expenses, and monitor any discrepancies.
- Carry out any other tasks and obligations assigned to you by your line manager that fit within your area of expertise.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or any related Field.
- (5) years minimum experience in coordination and supervision of grants for non-profit organization.
Skills & Abilities:
- Good awareness of the law and regulations of humanitarian and international institutions.
- Good awareness of preparation reports either in English or Arabic.
- Excellent communication, analytical skills.
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS word, Excel, etc.).
Language Requirements:
- Excellent English & Arabic communication skills (both oral and written).
