Job Summary:
Responsibilities include working collaboratively within a dynamic team environment, and actively contributing to both project objectives detailed under the background section. Among other responsibilities, the research coordinator manages the data collection exercise through rigorous monitoring, follow-up, and reporting throughout the cycle of the project. The research coordinator also plays a key role in planning and implementing capacity-building events such as the scientific symposia and research designs and methods workshop.
Education, Background and Certifications/Licenses: • Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of experience working in quantitative and qualitative research or monitoring and evaluation, or a postgraduate degree in nutrition, public health, or development studies. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English. • Proven record of completing assigned tasks without direct supervision. • Strong sense of accountability in meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work. • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure. • High level of integrity in all aspects of work and willingness to take ownership of tasks. • Ability to explain and communicate complex concepts to different target audiences. • Excellent time management and problem-solving capabilities. • Experience in managing other people. • Ability and a proven track record in establishing external networks.
