The Statistician Expert will be responsible for providing support to the General Secretariat of the Judicial Council (JC) through enhancing the capacity of JC staff in data collection, methodology design, statistical data analysis, report drafting, and studies. This short-term technical assignment is to be performed over six months and requires 60 days level of effort.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with technical teams to identify responsible parties and ensure sources of data and collection methods feed KPIs.
Assist in conducting various types of surveys, training needs assessments, evaluations of training courses, public opinion polls, case studies, etc.
Monitor data collection, utilize mathematical and statistical modelling, and present findings and recommendations.
Provide strategic advice based on data results.
Provide technical support with judicial annual reports and other reports as needed.
Conduct on-job training to enhance the capacity of JC staff in data collection, methodology design, statistical data analysis, report drafting, and studies.
