Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, information science, or any other related field.
1-2 years of experience in a related field
Good English skills (written and verbal)
Skills and Expertise:
· Hands-on experience in Linux administration (Red Hat Linux or Ubuntu)
· Configuring, maintaining, and implementing Microsoft Active Directory
· Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, architecture, and core technologies (such as DNS, DHCP, HTTP, NFS, NTP, Routing, Switching, and VPN)
· Hands-on experience in Virtualization technology - especially with VMWare VSphere
· Hands-on experience in installing, configuring, and managing web servers: Nginx, Apache
· Hands-on experience in installing, configuring, and administration for open-source DB (Postgres, MySQL, and MariaDB).
· Troubleshooting experience:
A basic reading of stack traces to be able to identify errors
Understand OS and Application level bugs
· Hands-on experience in Containers - especially with Docker is plus
· Programming fundamentals in any language are plus
. A Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or CompTIA Linux+ Certification is preferred.
