Job Title: Social Media Moderator

Job Type: Full-Time

Company Overview:

Al-Safa Group is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Social Media Moderator to join our team. As a Al-Safa Group team member, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a positive and engaging online presence for our brands across various social media platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor social media channels and online forums to ensure that user-generated content and discussions align with our brands guidelines and community standards.
  • Review and moderate user-generated comments, posts, and messages on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and others.
  • Respond to user inquiries, comments, and messages promptly, providing accurate information, assistance, and support as required.
  • Identify and escalate any inappropriate or potentially harmful content, comments, or activities to the appropriate internal teams for further action.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive online community by encouraging constructive discussions, acknowledging user feedback, and addressing concerns with professionalism.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and customer service teams to ensure consistent brands messaging and alignment across social media channels.
  • Monitor industry trends, news, and conversations to identify opportunities for engagement and content creation.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to the management team regarding user interactions, trends, and feedback.
  • Assist in the creation and execution of social media campaigns, contests, and initiatives to drive user engagement and brands loyalty.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and developments in social media moderation, content creation, and community management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a social media moderator, community manager, or related role.
  • Strong understanding of various social media platforms, their features, and user behavior.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Detail-oriented and able to handle sensitive and potentially challenging situations with tact and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Passion for staying up-to-date with social media trends, online behavior, and internet culture.
  • Experience in content creation, graphic design, or video editing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with brands guidelines and the ability to maintain consistent brands messaging.
