About the role

Position: Hackerspace /Location Manager

Locations: Cairo (Downtown, 6th october, Heliopolis, new cairo, Maadi)

Availability: Full-Time

Job Description

  • Ensure a great learning experience for all students
  • Run the day to day operations of the hackerspace smoothly and effectively
  • Manage student and the instructor onboarding processes.
  • Provide post-sales technical support for new customers.
  • Create a supportive environment for learning, creativity, and creation.
  • Manage the hackerspace capacity by coordinating with the sales and operations team
  • Elicit feedback from students and instructors to ensure improvement in overall experience
  • Serve members through instruction, providing clear processes and clean and safe work environments.
  • Work with Marketing to organise events such as workshops, info sessions, demo days, job fairs etc

The Hackerspace Manager should be:

  • Proactive
  • An Excellent Communicator
  • A Community Builder
  • Aware that he or she is the only one who represents the students and instructors at the same time. Able to organize own work effectively and to establish priorities.
  • Able to work well as part of a team and independently.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively track many projects simultaneously.
  • Able to establish priorities for assignments when faced with heavy workload and deadlines

Required education and experience

  • You have gained 1-3 years work experience in an operations or project management role, customer experience or customer satisfaction
  • Understands well startups culture
  • You have a university degree from a reputable school
