الوصف الوظيفي
Your main tasks will be:
- Caring for all patients on dialysis (hemodialysis or PD) and performing all forms of dialytic therapy (hemodialysis, hem perfusion, hemofiltration, ultrafiltration, peritoneal dialysis and CAPD;
- Reviewing/performing histories and physical examinations conducted by Registrars and Specialists, planning patient work-ups and deciding on appropriate treatment;
- Receives referrals and consultations from other disciplines, according to his/her specialty;
- Responsible for directing, planning, managing, and coordinating operations for patient care activities;
- Handles administrative and operational matters relating to the activities of the department and consults with the Head of the Department as required;
- Responsible to provide the highest quality of service to the patients under his/her care within the resources provided by the program;
- Provides overall responsibility for all medical in-patients, outpatients and emergencies. Conducts regular ward rounds on all patients;
- Ensures implementation of the Ministry of Health regulations, the Hospital Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations and the Emergency Room Department Policy and Guidelines;
- Participates in providing education and support for all junior staff in the department and supports continuing medical education, providing teaching materials as part of the professional development of the staff.

Education & Qualifications:
- MBBS or equivalent qualification AND completion of specialty qualification;
- PhD, Royal College, Fellowship, European/American/Canadian or Arab Board certified;
- Minimum 6 – 9 years’ experience post PhD or Board certification;
- Willing to relocate to Kuwait.
