Job Background:The purpose of this job is to hire a Legal Administrative Assistant for International Immigration Firm located in Amman, Jordan.Roles and Responsibilities:• Draft documents and correspondence.• Schedule appointments, meetings and conferences.• Set up and maintain filing systems, utilizing knowledge of legal records and procedures and frequently controllingconfidential materials and documents.• Open and distribute electronic mail and other material and coordinate the flow of information internally and with otherdepartments or organizations.• Follow office procedures and protocols.• Attending meetings or telephone conferences to take notes and minutes.• Perform other general office work as required including the office’s expenditures.• Upon completion of regulatory training and examination, the legal admin assistant will participate in immigration filesanalysis, assembly, advice and other related tasks.Job Qualifications:• University degree in Law. (Applicants that do not have a degree in law will not be considered)• Excellent command of oral and written English.• A minimum of two (1) year of experience.Key competencies:• Able to prepare reports, worksheets and deliver oral presentations.• Attention to details and able to work under pressure.• Presentation skills and ability to speak for public in confidence.• Excellent planning, coordinating, organizing and analyzing abilities are essential.• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with colleagues at alllevels.Wage:JOD 350 during the probationary period (3 months).
