Job Description
- Monitoring and controlling the operation of process equipment
- Routine rounds, running equipment change over and shift activities
- Involved in Startup and shutdown activities of Plant
- Prepare and isolate equipment for maintenance activities and reinstate on completion
- Purging and de-isolating ensuring all work permits have been cleared before bringing production back online
- Monitoring in daily basis the good application of Lock out Tag out and PTW of maintenance workers in the field
- Inform the Shift Supervisor or control room Operator of any unusual observations such as noise, spillage, and leakage, making process adjustments in accordance with instructions from the CCR Operator
- Identify deviations from standard operating conditions and initiate corrective actions.
- Monitor and log the parameters of all types of process equipment (level, pressure, temperature, flow etc.)
- Understand, adhere and comply with the site EH&S policy.
- Responsible for preparing equipment for maintenance including isolation, draining, steaming and other procedures as required
- Responsible for preparation such as plant isolation etc., for day-to-day maintenance work
- Perform daily check and minor maintenance based on the check list etc
- Take appropriate actions in accordance with Panel Operator and Lead Operator in case ofemergency
- Work directly with the foreign experts in the transfer of technical advice during the initial period of operation
- Receive fire fighting training based on fire fighting training program preparing for emergency
- Some of field operator, if appointed temporary firefighting crew, acts as a one of firefighting crew In case of emergency.
