WHO WE LOOK FOR:

We look for Hotel Concierge team who share a passion for excellence and who infuse that enthusiasm into everything they do in a most sophisticated way towards achieving the goal – to consistently provide an exemplary customer service.

What you will be doing:

• Fill all reasonable in-house guest requests or requirements; anticipate needs, respond to all guest complaints, record such in a timely manner, and take action when needed

• Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible

• Assure that desk collateral and information for restaurants, activities, attractions, maps and other local attractions are updated and current

• Create focused conversations with guests which identify their personal preferences

• Be proactive and anticipate the complete requirements of each guest in order to make their unique experience a success

• Respond to all guests’ needs and requests, utilizing proper communication skills within resources, and other departments, when appropriate

• Maintain a daily record of all guest requests, reservations and confirmations for guests

• Communicate all important details to management and colleagues regarding internal and external events, resources and possible challenges

• Assists guest in the recommendation, booking and organizing of sightseeing/shopping/arts and cultural activities

• Has thorough information about hotel outlets, facilities and services to assist the guests

• Has through knowledge about the city, attractions, historical places and activities

• Updates and controls sign board information according to the event orders

• Checks arrival times of the VIP guests

• Maintains tidiness of the front of the house and luggage storage room for concierge

• Responsible for receiving, distributing, sending and holding mail and messages

• Ensures precise counting of group luggage upon arrival and departure

• Knows and follows the fire and the safety regulations of the hotel

• Performs other duties assigned by his/her supervisor

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Preferred at least 1-3 years of experience in a luxury hotel in Concierge/Guest Relations / Front Office responsibilities

• Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management

• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment, utilizing a variety of computer systems to check in and out, run daily reports, select / assign rooms arriving guests, and restaurant / activity / spa reservation systems

• Knowledge of the city, activities, and restaurants. Willing to experience various restaurants and / or activities in the city to gain more knowledge of venues.

• Excellent English written and verbal grammar and composition skills. Arabic speaker is preferred.

• Ability to work from multiple shifts includes Night Shift.

• Ability to understand guest needs and expectations and to deliver superior customer service

• Perform job with attention to details and the ability to organize and handle multiple tasks effectively

• Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

• This requirement is expected to start immediately
