Role Purpose:
The Data Analyst will be transforming data into information and insight to support the business and our customers, and to help inform the decisions they make.S/he will provide best practice consulting and implementation plans for digital analytics and tracking efforts across our websites, mobile apps and digital assets. S/he will be responsible for data layer planning, tagging, and improving our ability to collect clean, trusted and actionable data.
Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Develop and maintain business critical metrics, analyze data, identify root causes and present findings and recommendations to drive key business decisions. Support the business using statistical methods for process and performance evaluations.
  • Use statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets
  • Turn loads of data and numbers into meaningful and digestible stories, explaining the why behind the what.
  • Drive creation of interactive and user-friendly analytical tools that enable fact-based way we make decisions and executive storytelling.
  • Liaise with internal and external clients to fully understand data content
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling the BU to take important decisions based on various facts and trends.
  • Support Tenants and Omnichannel Operations in identifying right analytical technique for tasks like A/B testing or segmentation by using predictive used cases with the ability to solutionise delivery and extract digestible format for the brand.
  • Advise on policies and processes for governance of digital tracking and analytics implementations
  • Be responsible for the setup and ongoing maintenance of the data layer
  • Implement best practices with regards to data collection and analysis across a range of tools, with a specific focus on Google Analytics 360 and Firebase
  • Take a proactive approach in reviewing existing digital platforms, processes, reporting and analysis

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience synthesizing response data and making sound, actionable recommendations.
  • Knowledge of Omnichannel, ecommerce, marketplace data analysis with the capabilities of translating data into stories
  • Development of data collection processes and data management systems

  • Data collection and entry from multiple sources when needed
  • Present analysis in easily digestible standard reports
  • Prepare and publish reports on showcasing tenants performance on (sales, browsing behavior, and advanced insights)

Experience:

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with 6-8 years of experience in digital analytics

Minimum Qualification / Education:

  • Google Analytics certified
  • GTM and any other recognized digital analytics certifications preferred
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Bachelor degree required
