Report To: PMD Director

Key Responsibilities

• Formulating the overall property management strategy, to ensure optimum utilization of organization’s assets, and creation of a collaborative environment to get the best performance from external stakeholders.

• Managing the overall operations of the facility by supervising the service provider’s performance, and providing regular guidance and coaching to internal and external stakeholders.

• Reviewing and approving the service providers and supplier contracts.

• Monitoring progress of all MEP works in terms of operations, breakdowns and rectifications, and inspecting the sites if required.

• Monitoring the progress of all hard facilities related works and soft services delivery for special events and projects.

• Managing the team to ensure execution of planned preventive maintenance activities.

• Reviewing recommendations of team members on safety and security services, approving guidelines and ensuring effective implementation.

• Monitoring project management of fit-out projects and enhancements, along with special focus on effective delivery of projects for Ministry related investors.

• Guiding the project management team for research projects.

• Developing and supervising the implementation of energy saving strategies.

• Monitoring the team to ensure all documents (including contracts & service agreements) related to project work, investors and service providers are complete and updated.

• Ensuring adherence of team members to departmental policies and procedures, including issuing certificates and checklists for vacating property.

• Handling major escalations and managing the relevant stakeholders.

• Developing and implementing operational strategies to ensure minimal downtime of facilities and services.

• Reviewing and approving operating expenditure, budgets and resources.

• Maintaining positive relations with investors.

• Collaborating with Business Development and Client Relations team in generating revenue from existing and potential investors.

• Dealing with government representatives and entities on need basis.

• Consolidating reports from technical facilities, services and project management teams to give an overview of facilities downtime, project progress, utilization and revenue generation to the Senior management team.

2. Bachelors degree.

3. Must have 10 years of experience in the similar role.

4. Preferred 6+ years of experience in real estate or related industry.

5. Good knowledge of MS Office Suite.
