Responsibilities:

  • Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
  • Assist with tax audits and tax returns
  • Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
  • Prepare month-end and year-end close process
  • Ensuring the accuracy of financial documents, as well as their compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances
  • Perform monthly balance sheet income statement changes in financial position/budget variance analysis
  • Maintain fixed assets and depreciation/amortization schedules
  • Prepare financial reports
  • Maintaining general ledger
  • Preparing tax returns
  • Performing other accounting duties as assigned
  • Preparing payroll
  • Apply and enforce the cash control process.
  • Apply and enforce inventory control and tracking procedures.

Requirements:

  • 1 – 3 years of accounting experience
  • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
  • In-depth understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Familiarity with financial accounting statements
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including V-lookup, Sum-if, and pivot tables
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
  • BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant
