Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
The purpose of the job is to assist the Head of Investor Relations in developing and implementing an effective Investor Relations plan to continuously enhance perception of the company amongst external stakeholders
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
This section shall not be customised to reflect accountabilities which may be unique to one role. Please use Section 5 to capture any accountabilities specific to the role which are over and above those mentioned in this section.
Strategic Contribution
Coordinate with Head of IR to develop and execute solid IR plan in line with Group strategy
Direct timely delivery and production of financial reports and communication to investors: slides, press release, Q&A documents and any other material
Monitor sell-side analyst reports, recommendations, and projection models/ estimate and regularly summarize them for Senior Management. Communicate misguided estimates back to analysts based on publicly provided guidance
Develop and manage relationships with the broader investment community including institutional investors/analysts and rating agencies and ensure timely and accurate communication with buy and sell-side community
Track all interactions and provide relevant feedback to Senior management on market perception, trends and competitors activities
Attend investor conferences/meetings whenever required
Play an integral role in planning, preparing and executing Analyst & Investor events (ex: A&I Day)
Other Responsibilities
Manage the effective achievement of assigned objectives through the leadership of the investor relations department by setting of individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff to maximise sectional performance.
Act as a role model and drive adherence to organisational values and ethics by employees of the assigned department to foster a value driven culture within the Group.
Continuous Improvement
Lead the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
FRAMEWORKS, BOUNDARIES, & DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY:
Functions within the framework and boundaries of Group policies as well as overall organisational and governance frameworks.
Authorised to take decisions as per the approved authorisation matrix.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Finance or related discipline.
Master's degree in Business Administration is preferred.
Minimum Experience
8-10 years relevant experience in the banking sector with at least 4 years in similar positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities in a similar function.
