Black & Grey HR is recruiting for one of the leading cosmetic and distribution companies based in Dubai, UAE. Our client is looking to hire an International Buyer who will be responsible for sourcing and introducing international brands & product ranges that suit company needs to enhance profits by acquiring suitable goods at competitive prices through sensible planning and careful purchasing.

<br />- Identify and meet suitable suppliers/manufacturers.
<br />- Visit fashion shows and trade fairs to look for new products/vendors/brands.
<br />- Maintain and update supplier database on regular basis.
<br />- Understand target audience needs and predict future trends to purchase what customers want.
<br />- Obtain quotations from different international suppliers and perform their detailed evaluation.
<br />- Negotiate prices, quantities and delivery time-scales.
<br />- Work out formal contracts relating to international suppliers with negotiated terms & conditions.
<br />- Pitch ideas to SCM and management regarding a brand/category induction and termination.
<br />- Produce monthly reports and forecasts.
<br />- Coordinate in payments and financial matters with CFO.
<br />- Keep close liaising with sales departments to assess performance of different items.
<br />- Periodically review what is working and what isn't working.
<br />- Perform other tasks as and when assigned by the management.

<br />Requirements
<br />- Bachelor or Master's Degree preferred
<br />- 5 years plus experience in buying Cosmetics & Beauty products from international market
<br />- Experience of working in Duty Free (Cosmetics, Perfumes) will be added advantage
<br />- Multi-Unit Retail or Wholesale experience in a large volume business
<br />- Thorough understanding of international sourcing techniques, strong negotiation skills and exceptional organizational skills
<br />- Willing to travel frequently with base station
<br />- Proficient in MS Office and ERP
