Job Summary
An opportunity has arisen for a Marine Engineer, you will be involved managing and advising on any issues involving Marine related construction, such as the Marina, from a multidisciplinary point of view, from design through to construction and commissioning/ handover. You will also advise on enabling/ temporary works needed in the marine environment for construction, including logistics and feasibility advice and assessment for different types of construction solutions to meet specific challenges associated with working on a remote island in the red sea 20km from the nearest mainland point.
Responsibilities:

Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team
Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.
Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
Prepares technical specification sections.
Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements

Minimum Requirements

15 years experience in marine related work
You must have marine experience both onshore/offshore
You must have marine design experience including design reviews
You must be able to demonstrate problem solving skills
It would be advantageous to have experience in construction stage
Detailed knowledge of AECOM's standards, policies and procedures
Excellent command of English (Written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications

Degree educated in Civil/Structural Engineering
