Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Director of Student Engagement, the Student Organization and Community Outreach Coordinator will actively support community activities and student organizations and serve as a key leader in the development of community engagement initiatives. The incumbent is responsible for founding and maintaining student organizations in line with university policies and overseeing community service initiatives. The Student Organization and Community Outreach Coordinator will cultivate enriching activities on and off campus and establish lasting partnerships with relevant organizations. The Student Organization and Community Outreach Coordinator will establish and maintain a co-curricular program and keep accurate data on all student memberships, service initiatives, and community service activities.
– Identify prospective volunteer programs, philanthropic opportunities, community service initiatives, and prospective community partnerships.
– Implement, update, and uphold policies, procedures, and training for student organization officers and advisors, including budget management, and event planning, marketing, and leadership development.
– Coordinate student organization fairs , informational seminars, workshops, and various community events to foster personal and professional growth.
– Act as a liaison for student groups and organizations and review and process club applications and event request forms.
– Develop communication with the university community to facilitate the coordination of programs through various platforms
– Manage all student organization marketing including digital signage, community emails, newsletters, website, and other promotional and informational materials for student clubs
– Plan, supervise and document regular community service events
– Coordinate the co-curricular activities program.
– Track student involvement and co-curricular achievements
– Assist with special projects, committees, and other responsibilities as needed.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with students and manage student activities
Attention to detail
Experience and Education:
Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree is preferred.
Demonstrated project management experience
Demonstrated ability to work with various departments and organizations
* Experience managing budgets and adhering to budgetary constraints
