Credit & Collection Specialist The role of the Credit & Collection Specialist with Hilti is to determine the credit worthiness and risk of current and potential new accounts based on the history, external credit ratings and other sources in order to release or reject orders accordingly.

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing various reporting tools (aging, collection report) to identify the priority customers and to create targeted action plans for those specific customers. You will be required to update system records of all conversations with the customers including details as names, amounts, dates, additional agreements to ensure that each account is kept accurate and is reconciled with the Customer. Furthermore, you will arrange and attend specific customer meetings to resolve disputes and develop relationships while allocating customer payments based on remittances or advice from the customer You will work closely with internal stakeholder at Hilti, including identifying & actioning Hilti Account Manager queries in a timely and efficient manner and coordinating the collection activities with the Sales Department. You will also have the opportunity to participate in cross-functional projects and make suggestions for process improvements. Finally, as the Credit & Collection Specialist, you will be responsible for the disciplined execution of the dunning process and the C&C policies of the Company while managing the collection and clearance from the bank.

What you need is:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance

Excellent analytical skills with a high-level of proficiency in MS Excel (SAP knowledge is preferred)

Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working in both Credit & Collection

Ability to synthesize & present analysis results with excellent communication and negotiation skills

Highly developed time management, organization & prioritization skills

Ability to make independent decisions based on the available information
