  • Co-ordinate the maintenance of all recreational facilities and equipment
  • Coordinate the delivery of all recreational guest services
  • Responsible for the safety of all guest services
  • Manage the sale and promotion of departmental products and services
  • Access sales and marketing data
  • Maintain your uniform in a clean and tidy manner, ensuring grooming matches hotel policy.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • Assist with the development of new products and services
  • Assist with the evaluation of sales and marketing activities
  • Anticipate economic business level fluctuations and makes action plans
  • Comply with all Hotel and corporate guidelines (eg signage guidelines, safety guidelines, etc)
  • Adhere to departmental cleaning and maintenance programs
  • Attend and input at management meetings as required.
  • Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures
  • Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly
  • Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers
  • Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements
  • Demonstrates an understanding of competitors’ major strengths and weaknesses
  • Establishes and interprets key performance indicators to manage the business, consistently takes into accounts financial implications of business decisions and recommendations
  • Has a broad knowledge of how the business is run, focuses on the major factors necessary to ensure that the business is successful and profitable
  • Diagnose problems and thoroughly analyse information to guide decision making
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with all internal customers and guests in order to exceed their needs
  • Increase sales for all services provided (Membership –SPA) treatments in order to achieve and exceed budgeted revenue.
  • Create a positive hotel image in every interaction with internal and external customers
  • Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge in order to explain and sell services and facilities to guests
  • Maintain knowledge of special programs and events in the hotel in order to recognize and respond to guests needs
  • Generate new ideas and encourage creativity from your staff
  • Demonstrate co-operation and trust with colleagues, supervisors, teams and across departments to deliver positive results
  • Interact with department and hotel staff in a professional and positive manner to foster good rapport, promote team spirit and ensure effective two way communication
  • Be comfortable and effective in an environment of ambiguity or change
  • Establish influential contacts with suppliers
  • Planning and maintaining of at least one month of operational supplies.
  • Attending all house-training programs.
  • Ensuring maintenance of inventory of supplies and products.

Ideally, you'll have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role in a five-star hotel or comparable industry, ability to demonstrate working with commercially focused and a keen eye for detail with strong analytical & numerical skills High-level competence in Microsoft Excel and other office packages. Proven negotiation skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills (both verbal and written) along with being quality-oriented with a focus on details, high-performance standards, ability to multi-task & meet deadlines, Certification from a recognized for swimming.
