Experience Designer

Job Description

Job Purpose
. The Experience Designer is responsible for gaining a better understanding of the customer needs, preferences, and motivations, play a critical role in creating user personas and communicating their finds with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate decision-making and innovation.
. In addition, responsible to leverage the latest technologies and ideation techniques to create, develop, and test new ideas and actively work with the innovation team to develop and apply methods that will turn customer needs into human-centered solutions.
Job Accountabilities
. Gain a better understanding of the social, emotional, and physical needs of the organization&rsquos customers.
. Develop and apply methods that will turn customer needs into human-centered solutions.
. Leverage the latest ideation techniques and technologies to quickly generate, develop, and test new ideas.
. Test and obtain feedback through rapid prototypes, wireframes, storyboards, and/or sitemaps to enhance the user experience.
. Explain user research results to both internal and external stakeholders.
. Develop personas and usage scenarios and assisting with content development.
. Conduct competitor analysis and market research.
. Explain user research results and/or findings to internal and external stakeholders.
. Analyze market conditions and trends.
. Develop personas and usage scenarios.
. Create prototypes and visualizations such as storyboards, wireframes, and screen flows.
. Analyze user feedback and iterating to enhance the user experience.
. Use Project Management tools (JIRA/Confluence) for documentation and managing project tasks and timelines
. Effectively communicate the status, value, and importance of user experience
. Contributing to a team environment, assisting with documentation, on-going education, and other impactful opportunities to contribute to the overall enterprise analytics maturity
. Be an advocate for data driven decision making and studying customer experience through analytics
. Work with different stakeholders across the bank to enhance customer experience with different bank products
. Working with strategists, analysts and management heads to identify customer pain points
. Review opportunities and submissions from innovation tournaments to study related experiences.
. Ensure compliance with all CBK, GB operational procedures
Education & Qualification
Bachelor's degree or a relevant technical degree required.
Knowledge
– Proficient with visual design programs such as Adobe Photoshop.
– Continued education and research into UX trends, technologies, and the best design strategies
– Experience creating storyboards, journey maps, and flow charts
Experience
5+ years of related industry experience to include customer experience, design and research, graphic design, and the use of various web technologies.
