Manage the receiving, shipping, handling, issuance and storage of all freight, product and supplies.
Communicate all delays or variances inbound /outbound freight to appropriate parties.
Maintain strict control over inventory levels in order to meet internal and external demand of product.
Plan warehouse layout and space requirements in order to prevent loses or damage and to achieve full warehouse optimization.
Manage an annual budget or capital investment plan for warehousing functions across the organization.
Develop and enforce corporate policies regarding safety and security in order to maintain safe working environment.
Maintain appropriate and compete documentation regarding regulated products and hazards materials.
Conduct periodic spot check of inventory levels, supplies or equipment.
Assess the need for and arrange the purchase of moving equipment like overhead crane or forklift.
Identify discrepancies between inventory records and take action.
Control and take action to prevent inventory ageing.
Coordinate the interface between logistics function such as procurement, transportation and warehousing to ensure efficient, timely and cost effective support to the customer.
Coordinate with customers to ensure desired logistics objectives, priorities and schedules are met and communicated to management.
Material receiving and issuance should control and ensure its records are updating in real time.
Ensure and take appropriate action for obsolete and expired materials.
Ensure import goods are clearing on time, customs required documentation are prepared in advance, duty exemption obtaining.
Ensure delivery schedule properly communicating with customers and ensuring goods are delivering within the agreed delivery schedule.
Monitoring and updating delivery schedule.
Ensure GRN and service entry updating on time.
Ensure supplier invoice have properly verified and send to finance for payment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
