HEAD, ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT

Job Description

Summary
Responsible for overall control, execution andmanagement of projects from start of construction to completion. Assuresprojects are carried out in accordance with specifications, drawings andcontract document. Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Prepares bid documents and provides cost estimates forprojects.
  2. Conducts on-site inspections of work in progress as a basisfor determining compliance with contract documents and fire and safetyregulations.
  3. Supervises, gives instructions and assigns responsibilitiesto site engineers and control technicians.
  4. Reviews and approves the CPM, PERT, Bar Charts and otherconstruction and material procurement schedules submitted by the Contractor forproject execution. Ensures compliance with recognized standards.
  5. Approves modifications within specifications. Negotiates withcontractors regarding change orders to initiate modifications.
  6. Reviews the monthly application of the contractor for paymentand work performed and material brought on-site by the contractor and tocertify the percentage of work completed and the application of payment.

Education
Bachelors or Master's degree in Architectural, Civil, Electrical,Mechanical Engineering or any related discipline is required.Experience Required
Nine (9) years with Master's degree or eleven(11) years with Bachelor's degree of related experiences including four (4)years in managerial capacity required.Other Requirements(Certificates)

  • Knowledgeable in NFPA and international design codes.
  • Skilled in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Primavera and/or Microsoft Projects.
  • Saudi National Only.
