Purpose of Job:
- Development, implementation, administration, supervision and close out of all capital, Supervise civil/structural maintenance and project work for capital, non-routine and routine maintenance contracts within the Mesaieed Operation jurisdiction. Preparing of daily progress reports and records, developing a working schedule/programme, reviewing and approving shop drawings, verifying quantities, issuing work permits and conducting routine inspections of ongoing projects as well as final hand over inspection.
- Prepare contract work requests (CWR) for civil/structural maintenance works. Participate in developing projects documentations, specifications, bill of quantities and drawings by conducting site surveys and routine inspections to ensure a safe operating plant.
- Participate in troubleshooting, in providing technical evaluation of causes and how to remedy.
- Assist Civil/Structural Engineers in review of project documentations implemented by Engineering Projects Department.
- Coordinate contractors daily work assignments, sign and control work permits and arrange for special support services and coordinate work with other QATARENERGY departments.
- Monitor contractor work activities to ensure compliance with QATARENERGY safety, quality and environmental standards.

- Carryout final inspections of completed construction work for mechanical completion and handover and participate in commissioning activities
- Assist Senior Civil/Structural Engineer(s) with site supervision of civil maintenance and project works.
- Assist Senior Civil Engineer/Structural(s) with implementing rules and regulations of QATARENERGY and QCS and all recognised international standards.
- Assist Senior Civil/Structural Engineer(s) with ensuring compliance with contract specifications for particular projects to be carried out by various contractors in operating plant. Work to include repairs to existing foundations, sleepers, slabs, buildings, roads, structures, barriers, walkways, burn pit structure, and various buildings maintenance.
- Assist Senior Civil/Structural Engineer(s) with control of civil/structural activities of various contractors and ensures construction to appropriate standards and safe working practice. Monitoring of contractors to ensure adherence to contract terms and conditions, work schedule and workmanship.
- Carrying out Quality surveying. Issuing work permits. Conducting routine inspections of ongoing projects as well as final handover inspection.

المهارات
Minimum Qualifications:
- Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited University.
- Minimum of ten (10) years field experience in Civil/Structural, Construction and Maintenance Engineering. Three (3) of which is in an industrial environment, with preference to petrochemical industry.
- Should be Holder of a Light Vehicle Driving License issued by Qatar Traffic dept. Defensive Driving training/course attendance to be provided.
