Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree
- 1+ year of experience in research and analysisfor business decision making
- Demonstrated passion for applying research and analytical approaches tobusiness problem solving
- Strong understanding of research and data analysistechniques
- Exposure to programming languages (Python, R) is a plus
- Entrepreneurial drive to build and innovate especially in the context of deepcontent expertise and proprietary knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Fluency in both English and Arabic is essential
Who You'll Work With
You will be based in our Kuwait office as part of our knowledge team. You will work with McKinsey consulting teams serving our clients across the Middle East.
You will be part of our Middle East Client Capabilities Hub and integrated with McKinsey's global Client Capabilities Network comprising 2000+ knowledge professionals who offer deep specialization across industries and functions.

You will spend a significant portion of your time (60-70%) working with McKinsey consulting teams, driving research and analysis across a vast breadth of topics across multiple industries such as banking, telecom, media, healthcare and public sector.
In this role, you will be a thought-partner to McKinsey consultants, knowledge professionals and clients. You will articulate, scope and prioritize research needs by setting them in context to business problems using a broad spectrum of appropriate sources. You will perform a variety of analyses such as benchmarking, trends identification, industry and competitive profiling, market sizing, growth projections and opportunity scanning to add value to problem solving discussions. You will also provide synthesis, unique insights and practical implications within tight deadlines via end products in the form of single exhibits, written summaries, basic fact packs and spreadsheets. You will be a sparring partner, leveraging internal and external networks, to engage in team problem solving, share evolving business trends and best practices, and contribute to knowledge creation initiatives.
The remaining time (20-30%) will be spent on development, maintenance and redeployment of proprietary assets (analytical tools, models, etc.) and codifying knowledge through practice documents. You will also support client proposals and other client development activities.
