Senior Officer – SME Business Development

Job Description

Job Purpose:
Effective sales approach to acquire new business relationships for the SME and Corporate Banking in General. Required to engage with the SME market/ segment in general to collaborate with business services providers i.e. advisory, incubators, accelerators etc. including KNF.
Job Accountabilities:
a) Producing periodic MIS support reports to help sales team.
b) Liaison with other based on project requirements to ensure day-to-day smooth delivery on operations.
c) Keeping track operations and requirements to support field staff.
d) Logging customer problems or complaints so that sales teams and managers have a complete view of the customers interactions with the bank.
e) Overseeing workflow of all business processes including preparation of reports, charts, and other statistics to support and direct the sales department.
f) Monitoring and acting on departmental e-mails.
g) Ensuring Bank policy, procedures and regulatory requirement information/guidance as per CBK regulations are followed and adhered by.
Generic:
Policies & Procedures: – Recommend improvements to departmental policy and direct the implementation of procedures Corporate Governance: Ensure compliance with all CBK, GB operational procedures, Risk and AML policies and procedures
Education & Qualification:
Degree/Diploma Obtained
Bachelors / Business Administration -Business
Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of Corporate Banking, Portfolio management, Risk analysis, Sales Distribution, MIS and market trends.
Experience:
2 – 4 years of Experience in financial services
