Job Description

Job Purpose:
To perform as a Computer Operator for daily operations and control of host and peripheral computer systems using standard operating procedures that deliver application systems and communication networks to all branches and departments.
Accountabilities:
a)Computer Operations: Operate computing and communications systems strictly following schedules standards and procedures ensuring service level objectives of departments are met accurately and timely.
b)Data Files Management: Upload / download data files from/to host systems using appropriate mechanisms for all financial transaction and reporting requirements
c)Report Generation: Provide periodic computerized reports to all GDUs and ensure production and security of all critical Bank information
d)Special Reports: Produce microfiche reports and provide duplicate copies to all branches upon request. Prepare statistical reports for all host applications showing on-line availability and batch completion on a daily basis
Generic Accountabilities:
e)Corporate Governance: Ensure compliance to all Operational & Risk policies procedures by minimizing error ratios and customer frauds
f)AML Compliance: Ensure compliance to AML policies & procedures while carrying out job accountabilities
g)Control-M Monitoring: Monitor and run all the new control-M automation jobs.
Education / Qualifications:
Diploma in Computer Operation studies / equivalent IT advance diploma / Certificate
Knowledge: Goodknowledge of Computer Operations
Experience: 2 3 years in a similar role
