Emergency Specialist, P4 – FT, MENARO – Jordan, post # 59206
Under the general supervision of the Regional Emergency Adviser, the Emergency
Specialist is responsible to support the planning, implementation, co-ordination,
monitoring and emergency programmes in MENA. It includes capacity building to
improve country offices’ ability to prepare for and respond to emergencies,
increasingly in an inter-agency context of complex and chronic emergencies in high
threat environments and/or social unrest and prone to natural disasters
