DEPUTY CHIEF OF PARTY- JORDAN

Youth Development principles.

5+ years’ experience working in a management capacity on USAID development projects and knowledge of USAID rules and regulations.

Demonstrated commitment to principles of Gender Equity and Diversity, as evidenced in previous management positions and programming. Strong understanding of gender dynamics in Jordan or similar context.

Experience with programming that integrates gender equality and women’s empowerment, youth empowerment, life skill building and youth networks.

Demonstrated ability to be collaborative, creative, and innovative.

Proven leadership skills and demonstrated experience recruiting, developing, and managing local and international staff and consultants.

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with host governments, donors, other donor-funded projects and stakeholders, local organizations, and partners.

Experience working in the region is strongly preferred.

Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic.

Ability to travel to project areas as required.
