Employment: Full Time

Role And Responsibilities

• Prepare contractual and commercial risk assessment for requests for proposal and provide support during the pre-tendering stage.

• Review, draft and negotiate contracts, agreements and other legal documents.

• Review and draft internal policies/procedures and ensure that they are in compliance with all statutory or legal requirements.

• Advise on and ensure that internal company processes, procedures and corporate governance are complied with.

• Prepare and review contractors and consultants tenders packages, clarifications and tender addendums.

• Provide support to the company management and other employees and act as an instrumental member of the Regions senior management.

• Conduct legal research and provide legal opinions related to countries the company already operates in as well as new jurisdictions and growth markets.

• Identify areas for improvement in existing contracting processes, revise existing procedures and/or templates or draft new ones.

• Liaise with authorities, clients, law firms, auditors, and other third parties

• Manage the licenses issuance and renewal and ensure compliance with government requirements

• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

REQUIREMENTS

Required Education/ Experience/ Skills/ Competencies and Technical Knowledge

• Degree in Law

• 3+-years in GCC and/or international engineering and construction firm

• Organized, motivated, committed, works well under stress and willing to travel.

• Computer skills: MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, and Internet Explorer

Additional Requirements

• Possess strong written and oral communication skills in English; Arabic language is a major advantage.
