Job Summary
The IT support is responsible for handling first level support of service requests. This relates to all information technology, to include: Software, workstations, servers, printers, networks and vendor specific hardware and software.
Typical Duties
IT Support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft’s core business applications and operating systems.
Monitor the remote monitoring and management system alerts and notifications and respond accordingly through service tickets.
System documentation maintenance and review
Communication with employees as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages.
Responsibilities
install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications.
monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system.
support the roll-out of new applications.
test and evaluate new software.
Requirement's Skills
the ability to work well in a team.
problem solving skills.
good knowledge with SQL, database
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or in a related
Professional certifications and training in related field.
3 years of working experience in IT technical support
