A leading IT company is looking for an experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to supervise and control all strategic and business aspects of the company. As a CEO you must be a sensible manager and an inspiring leader. The ideal candidate should have a technical & business mindset and will be able to see the “big picture” in a variety of settings.

General Requirements (All requirements in the underneath section are prerequisites)

Candidate with Jordanian citizenship and national ID number can only apply for this post 

Age of the candidate applying for this post must be between 40-55 years

Essential Computer skills are needed in addition to the use of communication and collaboration tools

Full CV with all previous work references are required to be included.

Confident communication skills with reporters and media coverages

Fluent in both Arabic and English (in conversation and in writing)

Required Competencies

Ability to develop high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives

Demonstrate fair amount of knowledge and practice in project management skills & capabilities

Proven successful in leading and motivating subordinates to advance employees engagement

Overseeing all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission

Build trust relations with key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important shareholders

Defining and coordinating activities with c-suites executives and senior management

Extensive financial knowledge including budgeting P&L auditing

Overseeing cyber security in terms of knowledge, leadership and technology

Education and Professional

Candidate must have a minimum of a B.Sc. degree from an accredited university in the area of technology i.e. computer science, Electrical / Electronic Engineering Biomedical Engineering….etc.  

Ambitious CEO with one or more in the following Master(s) will be considered as a plus: Health Information Technology, Health Data Science, Healthcare Innovation, Biomedical Informatics, Business Administration (MBA). Alternatively, at least two years of recognized experience in the area of Health Information Technology, or relevant recognized experience will be considered as a plus.

Proven successful of at least 4 years in a CEO or head position for a recognized company / institution functioning in the area of IT or health IT. Alternatively, other C-level candidates with IT or health IT experience in a well-established company / institution with a minimum of 4 years holding such C-positions might be considered.

Candidate for the CEO position should have typically worked in health IT environment or health IT projects in reputable companies / institutions or must demonstrate sufficient medical background

Overall candidate required experience must not be less than18 years.

Candidate must have contract management experience including negotiation skills

Proven track record in delivering successful digital transformation Mega project(s) in the area of health IT or IT sector. It is preferably to be on the level of the nation

Proven track record when it comes to adaptability and innovation as both are keys to a company's long-term success

Deep technical IT knowledge and understanding  

Recognized certificates /awards in the area of health information technology/system or other certifications /awards in the IT sector

Proven good knowledge and understanding in “Big data” and various analytics. Previous experience in healthcare Business Intelligence analytics and/or AI is a plus

Previous experiences and approaches with respect to capacity building programs including knowledge transfer in regard maintaining company’s valuable knowledge

Proven leadership with a history of a Managerial position to lead at least a team of 45 skilled labors  

Proven International experience in the area of IT and / or Health IT
