FREIGHT FORWARDER OPERATOR& CUSTOMER SERVICE

Al Sqr Express Ltd are looking to recruit an experienced Freight Operator and customer service person to join our office in Amman.

The Forwarder role is a key part of the team at the above department/ branch.

As a freight Forwarder, you deliver and support operations and processes such as transport and customs clearance on behalf of the customer. You also troubleshoot issues that arise while goods are in transit. The purpose of this position is to deliver outstanding service to the client by coordinating shipments, arranging additional services, and keeping the customer updated on cargo progress in order to ensure customer satisfaction.

Within this role, you will understand the branch Operation strategy and how to contribute to it. You will understand and deliver team and personal objectives and how these are measured in order to support personal and branch performance.

Key Activities

• Completion of end to end forwarding activities as the individual role requires

• Work closely with internal and external customers

• Focus on customer service

• Month-end department compliance

• Customs Entries

• Cost control

• Assist senior forwarders, Supervisor and line manager where required

• Ensure all reports including internal and customer-specific are completed within the deadline

• Resolve queries from customers and suppliers

• Ensure Best Practice models are adopted

• Work closely with the management team for Internal and external rate reviews.

• Remain in contact with customers and suppliers to maintain relationships

• To take part in customer reviews when required to build up visibility and relationships with customers.

• Assist sales and management with customer development

• Any other tasks as directed by their supervisor or line manager

Requirements:

1- Good knowledge of reading, and writing in English and Arabic.

2- Be able to communicate fluently with users in Arabic &English and cooperate with departments in English.

3- Good sense of service, can be responsible, rational, and polite to solve any user's problems.

4- Good at collecting and organizing documents, and can learn new knowledge quickly.

5- 2-3 years of customer service experience.
