    Cash for Health (Focal Point)

Jordan Paramedic Society is as local, not-for-profit, NGO founded in Jordan in 2012 on the basis of serving, supporting, and motivating the surrounding community and the MENA region. 

JPS aims to provide high quality healthcare to the disadvantaged and the vulnerable as well as spread awareness on healthy living and disease prevention.

Summary:

Understands NGOs projects, apply the security rules at all times, respect and observe staff regulations of health projects in Jordan, perform duties and tasks not covered in this job description, and provide support to other departments when required.

TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Master CAEHS tracking Sheet:

Review and verify approved cases by UNHCR and do data entry.

Follow up cases and update decisions.

Export and double-check the master sheet before sending it to UNHCR

Manage and follow up with referral hub and clinics for missing and pending cases; if there any missing document, or any missed admission.

Check for cash recipients on RAIS system and do Bulk upload

Counseling the Cash for Health recipients

Follow up and do proper counseling for beneficiaries who did not collect their cash assistances, and identify reasons for it

Monitoring and evaluation:

Identify and select random participants for the interview

Counsel beneficiaries over the phone

Cases management and follow up

Coordination with other NGOs

Working with other national and international NGOs with CFH projects, who work with refugees in Jordan in coordination with UNHCR

Work to avoid any duplication in health assistances between NGOs; CFH team coordination, collaboration, and to refer cases between them

To qualify for this position, you will need:

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in a qualified medical field with strong clinical background or at least 2 years’ experience working in the field

Experience in case management, referrals, protection monitoring would be considered a strong asset.

Previous experience working with NGOs/INGOs is highly preferred

Fluent in Arabic and English (speaking, reading, writing).

Excellent command of Microsoft Office

Show diplomacy, good communication and has good interpersonal skills.

Possess multi-cultural flexibility and experience

Strong organizational skills and good ability to make proactive suggestions

Calm, listen rigorously, able to work under pressure and handle stressful situation

Able to manage priorities, take initiatives and work without constant supervision

Team player, and able to work independently

Key Competencies:

Ensure maintaining high confidentiality of information, up to date documents, including processes and verification.

Advocate and plan for professional development for yourself.

Advocate and plan for professional development for your supervised staff.

Provide input to, and deliver, where applicable, training for national staff to increase their responsibilities in order to build capacity, and ensure sustainability of programs. Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues.

Proactively engage on a regular basis with your supervisor to develop working networks to seek advice where needed.

Ensure the application of, and compliance with, security protocols and policies of you and your supervised staff.

Support medical complains from different pathways
