Geology teacher/ IB Biology teacher

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in the related field from an accredited college or university.

At least 2 years of experience

Very good English

Requirements:

Ability to develop respect-based relationships with students and parents.

Team player willing to work comparatively with colleagues.

Demonstrated classroom management skills through exceptional planning.

Responsibilities:

Planning, preparing and delivering lessons to all students in the class.

Teaching according to the educational needs, abilities and achievement of the individual and groups of students.

Adopting and working towards the implementation of the school development.

Assigning work, correcting and marking work carried out by your students.

Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and behavior of your students.

Providing guidance and advise to students on educational and social matters and on their further education and future careers.

Ensuring high standards of professional practice and quality of teaching and learning of the subject. Through effective dialogue, participating in peer review and observation of class teaching practice by the head of Department.

Participating in staff, group or other meetings related to the school curriculum or any other arrangement for the better administration of the school.

Participating in the school assemblies.

Registering and monitoring the attendance of students.

Support other functions as assigned.
