Junior Accountant
Location: Amman- Jordan

We are looking for a Junior Accountant with 1 to 3 years of experience, preferably experience in a drugstore or the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will support our accounting department by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
· Record daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy in the general ledger, including entries for cash, bank interest, prepaid expenses, and allocations for expenses and revenues.
· Reconcile monthly accounts payable and receivable.
· Review trial balance accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting procedures.
· Prepare and issue transfer books and monitor their distribution to relevant parties.
· Assist the Financial Manager in audit processes and handling tax documentation.
· Prepare monthly employee transportation statements for commuting allowance calculations.
· Follow up on bank notifications related to guarantees, credits, and transfers, and send them to the relevant individuals for tracking.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
1 to 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the drugstore or pharmaceutical industry.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), experience in Oracle, ERP system is a plus.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
