As a Graphic Designer in TV production, you will play a crucial role in creating visually engaging graphics and animations that enhance the overall quality and storytelling of television shows, broadcasts, and promotional materials. Working closely with the Art Director and production team, you will bring creativity and technical expertise to design compelling visual content.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
- 2-5 years with university degree; 1-3 years in role
- Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
- Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite.
- Understanding of video production and post-production processes is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Create visually appealing graphics, animations, and visual effects for television programs, including titles, lower thirds, transitions, and promotional materials.
- Ensure all designs align with the show's visual style, tone, and branding.
- Software Proficiency:
- Utilize industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), to execute design projects effectively.
- Collaborate closely with the Art Director, producers, directors, and other team members to understand project requirements and goals.
- Participate in creative discussions and offer design solutions to enhance the visual storytelling of TV productions.
- Assist in the development of visual concepts and storyboards for graphics and animations.
- Translate conceptual ideas into compelling visual elements that complement the narrative.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to integrate graphics seamlessly into the production.
- Conduct quality checks on all graphic materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to technical specifications.
- Stay up-to-date with design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the production.
- Maintain effective communication with the production team to provide updates on project progress and address feedback and revisions promptly.
