Key Responsibilities
- HR Operations:
- Manage day-to-day HR operations for MENA countries, including employee onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining accurate employee records.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations and keep updated about changes in HR laws and regulations in MENA countries.
- Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures across the region.
- Ensure HR Shared Services processes comply with local legal requirements.
- Employee Services:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries from employees and managers in MENA countries.
- Assist employees with HR-related issues, such as benefits, payroll, and leave management.
- Coordinate with the HR team to resolve complex employee issues.
- Proactively follow up on urgent matters, implementing effective solutions to maintain a high level of service quality.
- Collaborate closely with customers/employees to ensure their satisfaction by addressing their needs and concerns effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service to employees and internal stakeholders in the MENA region.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration across diverse cultures within the MENA region.
- Collaborate with HR business partners to ensure seamless coordination between Shared Services and other HR functions.
- Provide support to the regional HR Shared Services team members.
- Answer incoming calls from customers and assist them with their queries.
- HR Systems and Reporting:
- Maintain and update HR information systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date employee data.
- Generate and analyze HR reports.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of HR technology solutions.
- Oversee end-to-end HR Shared Services processes, including employee lifecycle management, data entry, and compliance, ensuring operational excellence.
- Handling the time and attendance activities
- Handling the Service requests and fulfilling them through Ivanti in a timely manner.
- HR Projects and Initiatives:
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve HR processes and services.
- Support the implementation of regional and global HR initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve HR objectives.
- Drive process optimization initiatives, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in HR, preferably within the MENA region.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and local labor laws.
- Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
