The Role
The Sales Coordinator will be working within the Sales and Marketing team, this position has responsibility for handling and managing Sales and Marketing administration relevant content. The Sales Coordinator must demonstrate high energy levels & provide consistently high levels of customer service and accurate and detailed work.
As a Sales Coordinator, you will be reporting directly to the Director of Sales and below are some of the Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a good knowledge of Opera front office & RESERVE reservations systems in order to be competent in checking bedroom & room type availability.
- Maintain close working relationship with operational departments.
- Maintain confidentiality on work issues.
- Managing administration paper work including records, reports, budgets, traces, follow up and other documentation so as they can be found quickly and easily.
- Ensure that an accurate and efficient filing system (electronic & manual) is maintained at all times.
- Handling telephone enquiries and to provide a positive first impression of Grand Hyatt Amman by adopting a customer centred friendly tone.
- Make sure that all agreements (sales contracts) follow the established hotel policies and procedures and are based on sound commercial judgment.
- Develop professional conference and incentive sales proposals that win business for Grand Hyatt Amman.
- Work with Sales team to create positive & professional relationships with clients.
Qualifications
- High level of passion, enthusiasm and drive for results.
- Excellent communication skills across all mediums.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Ambitious and eager to learn, grow and further develop own career.
- High level of common sense and high skill of problem solving.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
