Reporting to the Director Operations, Safety & Security (OSS), the Operations Safety and Security Coordinator will be responsible for coordination of, and supporting the day-to-day operation of the OSS AME division, providing technical, and administrative support to the team, actioning multi-level communications with a range of internal and external stakeholders, and assisting in various administrative and project management tasks and duties that are central to the functionality of the OSS division.
What Your Day Would Be Like
Lead internal and external communications; promote awareness of OSS AME by composing and distributing internal and external directed communications - campaigns, initiatives to keep our members, area managers and head office informed
Develop technical administrative processes within the OSS division, to ensure the smooth running of the divisional office at regional level
Support the regional team with all administrative and coordination activities during periods of operational disruption to ensure timely dissemination of operational critical information
Provide support to the team for the coordination and administration of the ‘Flight Operations support desk’ function
Coordinate with the Regional and Global OSS teams relevant to divisional activities
Assist the OSS team in drafting and submission of technical papers, reports and presentations
Coordinate and manage the administrative and organization activities for the Regional OSS Groups under the governance of the Operations Advisory Council
Assume overall responsibility for the development, filing, tracking, distribution and upkeep of documents, reports, papers and presentations
Represent IATA during events, presentations, meetings
Monitor budget and forecast by analyzing actual performance against target in order to ensure control and precise forecasting, suggest corrective action to mitigate risk and provide updated forecast on a month-to-month basis
