Responsibilities:
· Identify and assess areas of significant business risks.
· Implement best audit and business practices in line with applicable internal audit standers.
· Manage resources and audit assignments.
· Identify and reduce business and financial risks through effective implementation and monitoring of controls.
· Develop, implement, and maintain internal audit policies and procedures in accordance with local and international best practices.
· Oversee risk-based audits covering operational and financial processes.
· Ensure complete, accurate, and timely audit information is reported to Management.
Requirements:
· Degree in Financial Accounting or Financial Management or any other related field.
· Strong communication in English (written and spoken) and knowledge of French or other languages is an advantage.
· Minimum 5 to 6 years of professional accounting/audit experience. Top-tier consulting firms (i.e., Big 4) or a large-sized company with a global audit team are preferred but not mandatory.
· Professional accounting/audit qualifications are preferred but not mandatory, e.g., CIA, CMA, or other related qualifications.
· Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
· Meticulous attention to details with the ability to multi-task.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Excellent documentation, communication, and IT skills, such as MS Office and accounting software.
Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
