Qattous Group is looking to hire a Fashion Designer to join our team and oversee the research and production of new Women clothing lines based on current trends in the market.
Responsibilities:
▪️Overseeing the research and development of new styles for the fashion design section
▪️Conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics and seek design inspiration.
▪️Ensure products are in agreement with business strategy.
▪️Select fabrics and trims.
▪️Create production sketches for development packages.
▪️Managing the women clothing lines design process from conception through to final styling.
▪️Collaborate with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to lines and create new concepts.
▪️Create production sketches for development packages.
Requirements and skills
▪️Proven work experience as a Fashion Designer or similar role
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator.
▪️Fluent English, speaking, reading, and writing, familiar with fashion and clothing terminologies. Knowledge about fabrics, materials, and manufacturing methods of clothing. Arabic language is a plus.
▪️Availability to travel for research and product development.
▪️Ability to do sketches by hand
Excellent design and conceptual skills.
▪️A bachelor’s degree in design or fine arts is preferred.
▪️Relevant training and/or certifications as a Fashion Designer.
