The Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS) is looking to hire a qualified Healthy Community Clinic Program Manager who will be primarily responsible to oversee and manage the program, ensuring its successful implementation in alignment with RHAS’s mission, vision and overall strategy
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Program Design and Implementation: Develop program strategies and oversee their implementation, ensuring they align with the NGO's mission and objectives. Develop work plans, budgets, and monitoring and evaluation plans. Provide guidance and technical support to project staff, partners, and stakeholders
2. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders including beneficiaries, donors, and government officials to promote program objectives and build partnerships to improve program outcomes
3. Financial Management: Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with donor and organizational financial policies and procedures. Review and analyze financial reports, and make recommendations for budget adjustments to ensure program sustainability
4. Resource Mobilization: Work with fundraising teams to develop proposals and secure funding from donors and partners to sustain and expand programs.
5. Partnership Management: Establish and maintain partnerships with relevant stakeholders, mainly Ministry of Health and its departments, government agencies, UN agencies, donors, civil society organizations, and communities.
6. Policy Advocacy: Advocate for policies and practices that support the program objectives and impact the health of the target population
7. Monitoring and Evaluation: Develop and implement a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation plan to track program progress and impact. Ensure that program data is collected, analyzed, and reported accurately and on time. Use evaluation results to inform program design and implementation
8. Reporting and Communications: Prepare regular progress reports, annual reports, and other program-related reports as required by donors and organizational management. Ensure effective communication and coordination with stakeholders, including staff, partners, and beneficiaries.
9. Risk Management: Identify and manage program risks, including financial, operational, and reputational risks. Develop and implement risk management plans to mitigate identified risks.
Qualifications:
Education: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as public health, international development, management, or a related field is usually required. A master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Experience: At least (11) years of experience in program management, preferably in the public health sector, with demonstrated success in project implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
