Responsibilities:
Evaluate the routine task cards for the customer work packages, using the standard data for estimation and planning purposes
Coordinate with Engineering Department to evaluate all AD’s, SB’s, STC repairs
Coordinate with Supply Chain Department to evaluate the required material and tools
Coordinate with Shops section to evaluate Component Shop’s capabilities
Coordinate with Commercial Department to provide the required data
Finalizing the estimate evaluation of the MHRS, define capabilities, major access, and major tasks, in addition to the critical path and conclude the ground time. Approve the evaluation results with the Planning Team Leader
Follow up on commercial requests after sending the quotations
Consider Joramco and customer approved procedures for preparing the work package task cards
Prepare the work package before starting the maintenance check, this includes detailed task cards, engineering orders availability, material/tools availability, manhour estimation, and the work plan/ critical path/ ground time
Consider Joramco and customer approved procedures to identify the critical tasks, the independent tasks, and the identical tasks
Schedule the work package task cards to correct milestones
Assign the correct task cards MHRS and the correct budgeted HRS
Prepare a man-hour plan/analysis for the aircraft maintenance induction
Conduct an efficient pre-input and buy off meeting
Working with Technical Records Specialist to ensure the work package task cards are printed, assembled, and dispatched to production.
Follow up with customers to provide the required data
Follow up on customer and production requests after dispatching the work package to hangars
Plan the initial and periodic task cards for the parked and stored aircraft
Set up and adhere to quality-control procedures in the pre input planning, demonstrating a good understanding of Quality and Safety principles, and how they can support the effectiveness of the pre-input planning function
The Planning Engineer will assist in any other appropriate and reasonable tasks requested by Joramco management in order to meet the business needs
Adhere to company and department approved system, policies, and procedures while performing his duties
Participate effectively in environmental protection programs (energy and water saving, water segregation, etc.) and notify for any environmental related nonconformities
Requirements:
B.Sc. degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering, or any related field
Related technical diploma or degree, or specific working experience in an airline/ MRO
Experience in customer work packages and task cards
Experience in maintenance planning documentation
Experience in task card scheduling, maintenance planning, and production planning
knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs and production planning
Knowledge of aircraft systems, power plant, and components
Knowledge in the AD’s, SB’s, STC, and repair tasks
Knowledge of logistics, material expendables, consumables, tools, and components
Knowledge of component CMM
Knowledge of authority requirements including the knowledge of Part-145 regulation
knowledge of internal quality manuals, MOE, supplement MOE, and IPM
Knowledge of electronic maintenance management system (ERP system)
Very good command in English language
Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office
Flexible to work during weekends, holidays, and during night shifts
