Considerable experience in Manual testing and knowledge of the projects system architecture and layers of communication.
Study Design Documents/ Technical requirement specifications, Evaluate and recommend technical approaches where applicable.
The design document or requirement specification detailed Test Plan, test cases, and associated test documentation are to be created with the intention of releasing high-quality deliverables that meet the functionality without any mismatches.
Create the test data required for execution as well as identify/Create test stubs (simulators) to mimic the actual production environment.
Providing estimates for individual tasks and ensuring that the actual effort does not overrun the estimated effort.
Execution based on the finalized Test plan/test cases to ensure that the released binaries meet the required specifications and quality.
Ensure that team members have adequate insights on testing procedures and always bring up new ideas in improving our testing
Desired Candidate Profile
7 + years solid track record in software testing
Lead and mentor QA team members, as well as manage credibility and relationship with stakeholders
Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
Ability to provide mentorship and coaching to the QA team
Strong Experience in API testing/delivering high quality
Knowledge of automation testing is an added advantage.
