Essential Duties and Accountabilities:
\u2022 Key duties include, but not limited to directing the hiring, training, and developing of a highly motivated workforce to elevate the skill level of employees as well as provide flexibility in a multi-functional workforce environment in order to answer to changing needs. \u2022 The Supervisor drives continuous improvement by taking a leadership role in Lean Principles\/Thinking\/Tools and Visual Management; by coaching and teaching; by building robust, sensible systems and processes that cascade responsibility. \u2022 Ensures associates are working safely, following all safety rules and procedures. Also ensures that equipment is meeting all safety requirements. \u2022 Work with Kaizen Team to meet constant improvements objectives. Utilize tachinbo, Yarijimai or other tools to meet improvement targets. Other duties or responsibilities as assigned.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
\u2022 Knowledge of gage design, metrology, sampling procedures, containment, corrective action procedures and process control. Knowledge of manufacturing equipment capabilities.
Education and Experience:
\u2022 BS in Engineering or related Manufacturing fields preferred and 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience. Required Education Bachelor\u2019s Degree<\/p>\n
