Company
Our client is a well-known Luxury lounge for an Aviation company. The company has more than 600 employees in a vast number of divisions and departments. They are currently looking for a Chef de Cuisine to be based in Bahrain.
Duties & Responsibilities: <\/p>\n

\n
• Design of menus to be in line with cuisine philosophy<\/li>\n
• Maintain highest quality of ingredients<\/li>\n
• Manages daily orders and checks quality of the food products received from suppliers and commissary off-site kitchen<\/li>\n
• Promote the features and F&B options to guests<\/li>\n
• Talk with guests and make menu recommendations and suggestions about the menu offerings<\/li>\n
• Present brief culinary moments in front of the guests with dishes coming from the hot kitchen<\/li>\n
• Menu presentations and tastings to the Lounge management on a regular basis<\/li>\n
• Lead, coach, motivate the kitchen team<\/li>\n
• Manage and train all kitchen and back-of-house kitchen staff to achieve high performance<\/li>\n
• Lead by example, is a strong role model for interpersonal performance standards and a champion of culinary standards<\/li>\n
• Create a strong team relationship with the kitchen staff<\/li>\n
• Share responsibilities with the Lounge Leader and Head House Keeper in managing all aspects of the Lounge<\/li>\n
• Manages & carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned by F&B Director.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Qualification & Requirements:<\/p>\n

  \n
  • Degree OR Professional Diploma in Culinary Arts<\/li>\n
  • 5 years minimum work experience within a luxury hotel or high-end restaurants<\/li>\n
  • Must have experience in leading large teams with financial and management responsibilities<\/li>\n
  • Must have excellent English language communication skills and both verbal and written presentation technique. <\/li>\n
  • Proficient in Computers and related programs (Word, MS Office, Excel)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
