The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 07 years' experience in an oil and Gas offshore Construction Engineering role.
The Construction Engineer will handle engineering assignments of broad scope and complexity, and will be responsible for planning, developing, and overseeing projects for Construction Operations. Facilitate the construction designs, layout, and project documentation and ensure that the designs are implemented with utmost safety and that the whole process flows efficiently by continuously monitoring quality.
Key Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\u2022 Responsible for providing constructability review and studies of designs and construction processes from start to finish during engineering and pre-construction phases.
\u2022 Provide advice and support in the construction contractor selection process.
\u2022 Maintain compliance with the safety analysis plan so that work is accomplished in an environmentally sound manner using safe work practices.
\u2022 Participate in Engineering reviews, and work together with the engineering team to identify, define, make changes, execute phases, and help improve the project\u2019s design based on issues encountered in the field.
\u2022 Assist with the documentation of lessons learned. Develop a process improvement plan from the lessons learned, recommendations, and feedback received.
\u2022 Attend various meetings regarding safety, environmental compliance, scheduling, and planning to provide updates. Coordinate with groups to ensure proposed construction and work methods are clearly understood and ensure agreement on environmental and safety.
\u2022 Conduct safety observations and conversations to help achieve a zero-incident culture.
\u2022 Oversee and observe quality control (QA\/QC)
\u2022 Review and approve installation contractors\u2019 procedures
\u2022 Provides onshore\/offshore execution planning readiness
\u2022 Ensures compliance to industry construction standards
\u2022 Leads resolution of all technical challenges related to the scopes of work
Requirements:<\/strong>
\u2022 Experience and knowledge of construction activities associated with the commissioning and decommissioning of Onshore\/Offshore Oil & Gas Facilities – Preparation Scopes of Work.
\u2022 Experience and knowledge of the planning and timely delivery of Onshore\/Offshore construction execution in an offshore\/offshore brownfield environment.
\u2022 Experience of providing input into and participation in project reviews such as constructability reviews, Lay-out reviews, SIMOP reviews & HAZIDs during detailed design and engineering.
\u2022 Experienced in review of construction deliverables including Scopes of Work and Construction Work packs, Method Statements.
\u2022 Experience in carrying out review of construction engineering and offshore execution manhours estimates.
\u2022 Experience in providing guidance to contractor in the system completion activities, certification (inspection & testing) of construction activities and close out of work packs.
Skills \/ Qualifications<\/strong>
\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Construction Engineering, or related Engineering field
\u2022 Minimum 07 years' experience in Oil and Gas related projects
\u2022 Minimum 5 years' experience in Oil and Gas Project Delivery as Work pack Developer \/ Construction Engineer in a multidiscipline workforce
\u2022 Minimum 5 years' offshore experience on installation and construction works
\u2022 Experience with diving construction work, pipeline installation and related construction activities
\u2022 Project Management, Construction Engineering & Management Transportation & Installation
\u2022 Logistics Management
\u2022 Strong influencing, interpersonal and team leadership skills.
\u2022 Strong writing and computing skills, Fluent English language skills
\u2022 Demonstrated knowledge of cost control, cost reporting, and project schedule management.
\u2022 Strong understanding of construction specifications, laws and regulations that affect the projects.<\/p>\n
