We are looking for a talented Data analyst with hands-on experience in playing with large datasets and building insightful analysis to join our Engineering team and speed up our next-generation products development. We have a mine of data with over 12,000 students in 8 countries, millions of hours of learning and interactions sitting in our data warehouse,<\/p>\n

Responsibilities<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\n
• Understanding business requirements in order to develop logic based on schema and available data. Enable each departments decision with data<\/li>\n
• Building dashboards\/reports using SQL and Python\/R on a Business Intelligence platform<\/li>\n
• Monitor services supporting the analytics infrastructure and collaborate with devops engineer to get a resolution<\/li>\n
• Develop user guides and data sheets describing key features and data points and keep them updated as the platform evolves<\/li>\n
• Build, validate, and troubleshoot data lakes in the data warehouse and expose them to the BI editor to support adoption of BI user self-serve<\/li>\n
• Collaborate with members of the Tech team (e.g. devops, data engineers, Product Managers, Software Engineers, and other data scientists) on the project\u2019s goals.<\/li>\n
• Perform stringent data checks to identify and address inconsistent data issues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Qualifications<\/p>\n

  <\/p>\n

  • Bachelor\u2019s degree in computer science, software\/computer or any engineering discipline, applied mathematics, or physics statistics or Experience in a related field with real-world skills and testimonials from former employees.<\/li>\n
  • Proficiency in Python and libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn<\/li>\n
  • Ability to apply independent judgment for research and troubleshooting<\/li>\n
  • Possible 3-4 years work experience or personal projects that will form proof of technical expertise and skill mastery.<\/li>\n
  • Intellectual curiosity to find new and unusual ways of how to solve data management issues.<\/li>\n
  • You are a team player, you pass the ball if you\u2019re teammate has a better shot<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
