What You\u2019ll Do: <\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

• <\/li>\n
• No Experience needed – Windstream\u2019s training program will teach you how to install and repair residential and business communications services including telephone, internet, and video. <\/li>\n
• Learn to work with tools and test equipment to provide service of multiple different technologies and network designs. <\/li>\n
• Recommend products and services to resolve the communications needs of customers. <\/li>\n
• Work in both buried and aerial plant requiring pole climbing and ladder skills. <\/li>\n
• Safely operate and maintain clean and organized company service vehicle. <\/li>\n
• Work in both inside and outside environments. <\/li>\n
• Complete necessary safety training and follow safety standards and regulations. <\/li>\n
• You will report to the Manager of Local Operations. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  • Basic technology and math skills. <\/li>\n
  • Valid driver\u2019s license and safe driving record. <\/li>\n
  • Ability to distinguish colors in use of color-coded cable. <\/li>\n
  • Ability to use equipment with maximum load capacity of 275lbs. <\/li>\n
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and capable of working aloft. <\/li>\n
  • Ability to successfully complete required safety training. <\/li>\n
  • Ability to work assigned schedules and extended hours including day, evening, weekend, and holiday hours. <\/li>\n
  • Ability to respond to after hour callouts. <\/li>\n
  • High School Degree or GED equivalent. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
